Express strawberry tart by Mounicook


For the dough:
200gr of flour.
120gr of butter.
50gr of icing sugar.
50gr of water.
1 egg yolk.
1 pinch of salt.
1 tsp vanilla.

For the cream:
1 package of pastry cream La feuille d’or.
1 liter of milk.
100gr of sugar.

For the grout:
100gr of strawberries.
1 tbsp strawberry pudding La feuille d’or.
1 tbsp of sugar.

100gr of strawberries.


1-Start by making the shortcrust pastry by mixing the butter, sugar, salt, vanilla and egg yolk all in ointment then add the flour gradually and collect with cold water, form a ball and leave put in the fridge.

2-Spread the dough on a pie pan, prick it with a fork and bake for 20 minutes at 180 °.

3-Meanwhile, prepare the pastry cream by mixing the powder, milk and sugar when cold, and bring to the boil without stirring with a whisk until it thickens.

4-Take the cream off the heat, let it cool for a few minutes and place it on the bottom of the shortbread pie and garnish with strawberries.

5-Mix the strawberries, sugar and flan and bring to a boil and place the coulis on the pie.
